Notice of Press Conferences and Meet-the-Press Event

As part of the activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Press Center will hold two press conferences and a meet-the-press event at the Press Conference Hall on the second floor of the Media Center Hotel. The schedules are as follows:

The First Press Conference: 3:00 p.m. on June 27

Mr. Qu Qingshan, President of the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, will introduce the Party history and literature work in the new era and take questions from journalists.

The Second Press Conference: 10:00 a.m. on June 28

Mr. Xiao Pei, Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC and Vice Chairman of the National Commission of Supervision of the PRC, Mr. Xu Yousheng, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, Mr. Guo Yezhou, Vice Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Mr. Han Wenxiu, Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission, will brief journalists on the duties of their respective departments and take questions.

Meet-the-Press Event: 3:00 p.m. on June 28

Some of the “Glorious 50-Year Party Membership” medal recipients and representatives of newly recruited Party members will be invited to meet journalists and have exchanges with them over the topic of “Passing on the Party Traditions, Carrying Forward the Founding Mission”.

All journalists are welcome to attend.

Notes: Registration is required for the above events. The participants must have a press pass for the celebration and proof of negative results of a nucleic acid test conducted within 48 hours before the events. More details will be released later.
