Notice on the 1st Press Conference at the Press Center

The Press Center for the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China will host its first press conference with the topic on the Party history and literature in the new era at 15:00 on June 27 in the Press Conference Hall, 2F of Media Center Hotel. The speakers are:

Qu Qingshan, President of the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee

Jiang Shuping, Director General of the Institute’s Third Research Department

Yang Mingwei, Director General of the Institute’s International Cooperation and Exchanges Bureau

Liu Ronggang, Deputy Director General of the Institute’s Seventh Research Department

Journalists who plan to participate should send the application form via email to cele_notice@163.com before 18:00 on June 26. Due to limited space at the venue, admission will be granted on a first-come-first-serve basis.

More details of the event:

1. Press accreditations issued specifically for covering the celebrations are required. (Please read the notices on this website for details on when and where to collect the accreditations.)

2. Following COVID-19 prevention and control rules, all participants must show proof of negative results of a nucleic acid test conducted within 48 hours before the press conference. Journalists can take nucleic acid tests from 17:00 through 20:00 on June 26 at the testing site at the Great Wall Hotel Beijing. (Contact: Zhang Bingshun, 135 2290 2116)

Journalists who plan to take part in the two events scheduled for June 28 at the Press Center should also take nucleic acid tests at the said time slot and place.

3. Please send the nucleic acid test results in PDF format via email to cele_notice@163.com before 12:00, June 27.

4. Please show up with your accreditations and nucleic acid test results to board the shuttles at Great Wall Hotel Beijing bound for Media Center Hotel at 13:00, June 27. After the press conference is concluded, please get on the shuttle to leave the Press Center.
